Fluffer Introduces: CUSTARD THRUSTER

Fluffer brightened up your rainy Wednesday when we announced the dawning of CUSTARD THRUSTER – a new monthly mini-sweat-fest designed to make your motor hum from the pm to the am. Unit 30 in Bow, East London, offers you nothing but raucous live music if you want it, and we know you do. Prepare to be drenched in a steaming rock’n’roll mess. As well as showcasing the best bands the globe has to offer, we strive to keep the torch of DIY independence burning bright.

Get ready for Xaviers to tantalise your eardrums at the first CUSTARD THRUSTER. Their mysterious electro-rock experimentation sends you into orbit. Thee MVPs will soak you up in their tune lagoon that they like to call ‘Thames pop’. We also have a gigantic surprise in store as the clock chimes 1am - don’t be late to the party and miss the secret guest we have lined up for all you Fluffer Fanatics. Let’s do it all again the following month. Remember, Fluffer Records requires you to seal a pact with your sweat, so once you’ve been thrust into the custard there will be no sticky return. Join Fluffer in September and keep the summer vibes alive at the next all-dayer as the Black Tambourines cast you into a surge of ocean rock. USA Nails will also be hitting the stage, ready to pack our ears with their chaotic punk extravagance. And if you’re not already swayed, Fluffer have booked Happy Meal Ltd. to keep the sweat dripping out of every pore with their crazed serenades. Here at Fluffer we understand that catering for the fearless means satisfying the hunger for food as well as danger. During the trip, keep your strength up with a nice cold ice cold beer from the cheap can bar and indulge yourself with a juicy burger from our very own BBQ. That’s just a taster; there will be much, much more…

In the words of Al Brown, Fluffer Records founding father himself, “Time to mess things up a bit. Custard Thruster is the night you’ve never dreamed of.” If Custard Thruster is a dream, then we guarantee that you won’t want to wake up.
